Hi Zhipeng,

 

I put the project type descriptions that we last discussed on the wiki at https://wiki.opnfv.org/project_proposals and referenced the Project Lifecycle document.

I however still am not completely clear on the definitions and potential for overlap – all I can say is that for this project the initial focus is on developing requirements priorities that follow from gaps in the current open source (primarily OpenStack and ODL), and that those gaps are likely to be determined through a combination of document/code analysis and testing policy use cases with the “vanilla” (baseline, with no functional enhancements) OPNFV platform that we construct.
